Check the framing panel first. Before each movement TabataRep shows
where to put the phone. Most missed reps are framing: side on for a push-up, further back
for a burpee. If the framing indicator is not green, the joints being scored are not in
shot, and the app will tell you rather than score you badly.
Light matters. Pose detection needs to see your outline. A dark room
or a strong backlight will lose you.
Check what counts. Long-press any movement to open its tutorial. It
shows the exact signal being watched and the two lines you have to cross, plus the most
common mistake and whether it costs you the rep or just the score.
A rep did not count
Every movement has a threshold you have to cross and come back from.
Stopping between the two lines is the usual reason. The tutorial for that movement draws
those lines on a real trace — that is the honest answer to "why not".
The alarm did not go off
Android needs permission to schedule exact alarms and to post
notifications. Check Settings → Apps → TabataRep → Alarms & reminders. On both
platforms, battery optimisation can defer alarms — exclude TabataRep if your wake-up
matters.
I subscribed but Pro is still locked
Open Settings and tap Restore purchases. Subscriptions are tied to
your Apple ID or Google account, not to a TabataRep account. If it still does not appear,
email us with the store receipt and we will sort it.
How do I cancel?
Subscriptions are billed by Apple or Google, so they are cancelled there —
not in the app. iPhone: Settings → your name → Subscriptions.
Android: Play Store → profile → Payments and subscriptions.
Do you record video?
No. Frames are processed on your device and discarded. Nothing is recorded
and nothing is uploaded. See the privacy policy.
Delete my account or data
Deleting the app removes everything on the device. For a synced account,
email us and we will delete it.
